We asked of him, and he did not let us down. NY Sport Blog bracket winner Ryan Steele took the time to write a post about his championship run. Friday Night Lights Season 4 Preview
First off winning the NYSport Blog tourney challenge is an honor. All the haters can bitch abouthow Duke got an easy bracket, all the other top seeds got knocked out,how Hayward's shot almost BANKED in, etc. But I don't care. We were thelast team standing and we got the hardware to back it up. Besides, itwas nice to get clutch contributions from upperclassmen. They seem to bea rarity nowadays (Kentucky's whole team has entered the draft). But Ithought Lance Thomas and Brian Zoubek played the senior role playercards extremely well. Also Nolan Smith needs some more love, he's good.I'm pumped for next year if Singler stays. Kyrie Irving is going to bedirty. It will be a dogfight between him and Harrison Barnes for ACCROY. I'm pretty sure everyone who reads this blog hates Duke, so I'msure y'all now hate me equally. Moving on to the real reason for thisguest blog...
FNL!!!
Now some of you might have already seen season 4 (DirecTVor watched online). But I waited it out and I cant wait for it to startin early May on NBC. Not a ton of people watch the show, but it reallyis pretty damn good, and I'm not a huge TV show guy.
Anyways at the end of Season 3, Coach Eric Taylor was ousted fromhis position as football coach of the Dillon High Panthers by schemingbooster Joe McCoy, father of the starting quarterback, JD. Season 4 willfind Coach Taylor at the helm of a new pack of strays, the East DillonLions. This rivalry is going to be fucking EPIC!!! Plus there should besome good tension at home, as Tami Taylor, coach's wife, will still beprincipal at Dillon High. A new cast of characters is gonna have to stepup big time to flesh out the East Dillon kids, but the writers on thisshow are pretty solid, so I have faith. Plus, Tim Riggins and LylaGarrity will be back. Julie Taylor (coach's daughter), Lyla, Mrs.Taylor, and Mrs. McCoy are reason enough to watch the show. All of themare bringing straight heat.
